Chris and Teresa were married in 1998. In the same year they moved to Hudson, Wisconsin where they started a children’s ministry and were outreach pastors in a small grassroots church. They served there for three years.

In 2001 they moved to Kenosha, Wisconsin, where they served on staff at Kenosha Assembly of God. Chris was responsible for a dynamic ministry of over 600 children from the ages of birth through 5th grade and managed a volunteer staff of 250.  Teresa  served as a vital staff member at the church as the Early Childhood Director, where she has a passion for the littlest of God’s children. Together they led incredibly successful outreaches in the Kenosha community during the spring and fall of the year. They saw over 4,000 people in attendance to these events.

Over the years their family has grown and they have four children; Olivia age 9, Analiese age 7, Caleb age 3 and Connor age 2

Chris believes an effective children’s ministry begins when a church partners with parents in raising kids who are growing towards full devotion in Christ and being leaders in the Kingdom by meeting the challenges their generation face! He desires to create an environment where children have so much fun learning about an awesome God that they won’t want to miss a week. By using videos and dramas to effectively teach a media-driven generation, Chris wants to make an impact in a child’s heart so they want to live for Christ at home, school and in their neighborhoods.

Chris knows there are many things that contribute to a thriving, relevant children’s ministry. A child-targeted environment needs to be biblically based with relevant teaching, having strong leaders who are committed and willing to lead the next generation to obtain a clear vision and mission to serve Christ for their whole life. Children need to know who they are in Christ and what great value Christ has placed on them as the littlest ones in His Kingdom. They can do great things, right now!
