The genesis of Pathways goes back to 1994, when a team from Denver, Colorado began a trip north to pioneer a church. Using contemporary music, drama and Biblical teaching that was highly relevant to the lives of people, the church began with a handful of people meeting in homes. Renting a dinner theater, they launched the church with great optimism on September 11, 1994 – only to be encouraged by the initial turnout of 125 people. In three years, more than 1,000 people would call Pathways their church home.

From the beginning Pathways services have grown. In the spring of 1996 a second service was added on Sunday to accommodate those attending. In spite of the incredible growth the founders goal was not to become a big church but to be the church to each other and to the community. Authentic relationships have always been emphasized, with life groups offering opportunities to for people to develop spiritually while building life-long friendships.

Since the earliest days of Pathways (then called Integrity Christian Centre) when we were only 125 people strong our vision has been abundantly clear: to build a Biblically-functioning community, which offers transformational teaching, committed relationships, genuine prayer and worship, humble servanthood, and the ongoing miracle of people being revolutionized by Christ.
